Lots of extra residents and vacationers have been pressured to go away a Greek island as wildfires rage uncontrolled throughout the area.
Scorching temperatures have blighted a lot of southern Europe and Greece itself is seeing the worst heatwave in 30 years.
The area north of Athens – and Avia – the nation’s second-largest island, are among the many worst-affected areas. Ferries are serving to evacuate residents and holidaymakers.
