Sambalpur (Odisha), Sep 21: The cyber wing of the Odisha Police in Sambalpur district on Tuesday arrested a person for allegedly importing a video containing pictures of girls Anganwadi staff, to which a background voice uttering obscenities towards them was added. In a press release, police stated the accused was arrested in Samra village underneath Saintala police station in Balangir district.
A grievance was lodged on September 17 informing the police that anyone posted a video on YouTube, through which he used pictures of girls Anganwadi staff and used vulgar language towards them in a voice-over. The cyber wing of the police came upon who uploaded the video and arrested the accused, the assertion stated. It stated the video was eliminated by YouTube authorities on the requisition of the police.
