An Indian couple are suing their son and his spouse for “psychological harassment” for not giving them a grandchild after six years of marriage.
Sanjeev, 61, and Sadhana Prasad, 57, instructed The Occasions of India (TOI) they used their financial savings to boost their son, paying for a luxurious marriage ceremony and his pilot coaching.
The couple are demanding Shrey Sagar, 35, and his spouse Shubhangi Sinha, 31, pay compensation value almost £525,000 if no grandchild is born inside a 12 months.
Their son and his spouse don’t seem to have commented.
Mr Prasad instructed the paper he spent all his financial savings on his solely son, who misplaced his job in 2007 and was supported financially by his dad and mom.

Mr Sagar instructed the paper: “We’re hardly left with any cash as a result of we spent every part on our son”.
He added that his son and his spouse stay in separate cities attributable to their jobs.
The dad and mom’ lawyer Arvind Kumar Srivastava claimed the case was the “first-of-its-kind in Uttarakhand and doubtless the nation”.
