Former BJP MLA in Tripura who joined Trinamool Congress (TMC) resigned from the TMC alleging the occasion’s “inside groupism”.
Das alleged there isn’t any democratic atmosphere each in BJP and TMC. Das was elected Surma seat in 2018 Meeting polls as a BJP candidate. By ballot to this seat is scheduled for June 23. Surma meeting constituency, reserved for the scheduled caste.
Das earlier than becoming a member of TMC praised TMC supremo and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee .
By-polls could be held in Agartala, City Bordowali, Surma and Jubarajnagar meeting constituencies, which had been mendacity vacant after the resignation of three BJP MLAs and demise of CPI-M legislator Ramendra Chandra Debnath.
