Police in Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar district arrested the coordinator of the Nationwide College students’ Union of India (NSUI) at a mass marriage ceremony within the premises of a Balaji Temple when he tried to remarry his spouse on the occasion to avail advantages of the Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana.
In response to media studies, Netik Choudhary had married his spouse simply 15 days in the past however reached the mass marriage ceremony venue along with his spouse to remarry for the scheme’s choices.
As he was ready on the venue for rituals to start, he was reportedly observed by the organisers who known as the police. Choudhary was arrest and later launched.
The Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana was launched in April, 2006 with an goal to offer monetary assist to deprived households for his or her daughters’ marriage.
Tweeting on the incident, BJP state media in-charge Lokendra Parashar sought solutions from Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Kamal Nath.
