CHIEF MINISTER Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday mentioned that freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar’s “scientific considering” and “staunch nationalism” proceed to be an inspiration for the nation.
Paying tributes to the Hindutva ideologue on his 139th start anniversary Thackeray mentioned that Savarkar was a multi-faceted character.
“He was a litterateur, a robust orator, an excellent organiser, who waged a battle towards the British rule. His scientific considering and staunch nationalism are an inspiration,” the CM was quoted as saying in an official launch. Thackeray additionally garlanded a portrait of Savarkar at ‘Varsha’, his official residence, the discharge added.
