Mumbai, Jun 23: In retort to Shiv Sena’s demand of disqualifying 12 insurgent MLAs, together with Eknath Shinde, the insurgent chief stated “you’ll be able to’t scare us”.
Taking to his Twitter deal with, Eknath Shinde wrote, “You can not scare us by giving the names of 12 MLAs for disqualification as a result of we’re followers of the Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray. We all know the regulation, so we don’t pay heed to threats.”
He added,”Who’re you making an attempt to scare? We all know the regulation too! In accordance with the tenth Schedule to the Structure (Schedule), the whip is for meeting work, not for conferences. There are quite a few Supreme Courtroom selections on this regard.” As a substitute of budging, the chief went on so as to add: “We demand motion in opposition to you for creating an unlawful group with no quantity.”
The checklist of MLAs that the Shiv Sena needs to be disqualified embrace Sanjay Shirsat, Sandipan Bhumre, Tanaji Sawant, Bharat Gogawale, Abdul Sattar, Lata Chaudhari, Yamini Jadhav, Prakash Surve, Anil Babar, Balaji Devdas and Mahesh Shinde and Eknath Shinde.
Earlier on Thursday, demanding disqualification of insurgent MLAs, Shiv Sena MP Arvind Sawant stated: “We have filed a petition earlier than the Deputy Speaker (of the Maharashtra Legislative Meeting) and demanded the membership of 12 MLAs be cancelled as they did not attend yesterday’s assembly.”
