Border Safety Power (BSF) beneath the South Bengal Frontier rescued a lady who was pushed into prostitution by her aunt and apprehended two touts within the border space of West Bengal’s North 24 Pagans district.
The BSF obtained data from the intelligence department that the touts have been about to illegally ship the lady to Bangladesh. Based mostly on the data, BSF rescued the lady and arrested the 2 accused in a particular ambush.
Throughout preliminary interrogation, it was found that the lady, going by the fictional title of Anisha Mandal, was being despatched to Bangladesh allegedly for prostitution.
The lady revealed in enquiry that after her divorce, she had come to India 5 years in the past together with her aunt, named Laxmi Thakur, with a passport. She had left her son behind.
After coming to India, she began dwelling together with her aunt in Ranaghat, the place her aunt compelled her into prostitution. She was being despatched again to Bangladesh when BSF caught her.
