With the retail inflation rising to an eight-year excessive at 7.79 per cent in April, the NCP on Friday took a dig on the BJP, saying its “achhe din” ballot slogan must be “archived and forgotten” now. In a veiled assault on the J P Nadda-led get together, NCP spokesperson Clyde Crasto additionally sarcastically stated it must be seen who might be blamed for a similar and what would be the new diversion to cover this “failure”.

The BJP had raised the “achhe din” (good days) slogan through the 2014 Lok Sabha polls campaigning.
